Beginning Sept. 9, during the 10:30 am service, Children's Chapel will be held in the Simpson Room for children ages 5 to 12.

All youngsters will begin with their families in the main worship space.  They will enjoy the opening part of the service with the whole family of God.  Following the reading of the Gospel, the children will be led out  of the service to the Simpson Room where a liturgical space will be created for their use. 

In this way, the children can hear scripture the way it was first proclaimed in the Church as an oral tradition and then hear the Gospel told in story form in Children's Chapel.  Hands-on activities will also help them understand the text of the day.

They will return to their families at the passing of the peace to receive communion and enjoy the closing of the worship service with the entire family of God.
