MEALS ON WHEELS drivers critically needed in the Springfield community.
Meals are delivered Monday-Friday between 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The job involves picking up meals at Franconia Elementary School and delivering them by 1:00. Volunteer drivers can deliver on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, or substitute basis. Mileage reimbursement provided.  Other volunteer opportunities to help older communities members include providing transportation to and from the grocery store, pharmacy or medical appointments, making friendly visits, helping with light household tasks (changing light bulbs, organizing mail, etc.) and making social calls.
