Shrove Tuesday:
Submitting Our Abundance

On Tuesday, February 5, after a dinner of all -you-can- eat pancakes at Olivet, we met in the Simpson Room for an explanation of what the Lenten Season is all about, and to reflect on how we can submit everything in our lives to God.  On pieces of paper, we wrote a note to God telling Him what we are sorry for in our lives and what we want to give back to Him during Lent.  The papers were dropped into a paper sack and set on fire on the brick walk behind the church.
